For students who struggle with the learning of CL, teachers may provide model Chinese compositions to give them exposure to good vocabulary, sentence structures, and content organisation. Students are not to copy the model compositions mindlessly. If writing out the phrases or sentences help the students learn ways to express ideas clearly and become familiar with useful phrases and idioms, they are advised to do so. This practice enhances memory and builds confidence, making it easier for students to apply what they’ve learned in their own compositions.
