I managed to login via AzureAD but it states that my email does not exist in Bright.

You will need to approach your endorsing officer or any Bright admins in your institution to add you as a user.
If your account on Bright has an incorrect email, please approach your EOs or Bright admins to create a new account with your email, and disable the account with incorrect email.
Alternatively, you can ask your referral contributor(s) to add you to a referral with limited permissions.
