You should submit your application to renew your AML at least 1 week before your licence expires to avoid having your licence lapse while the renewal is being processed.

You may apply to renew your AML up to 3 months before its expiry. The existing anniversary date of your AML will be retained if it is renewed within this 3-month period. However, if you apply to renew your AML earlier than 3 months before its expiry, the validity of your renewed licence will start from the date of the early renewal.
