If I am 66 years old in 2026 and my applicable Basic Healthcare Sum (BHS) is $75,500, am I allowed to maintain a balance greater than my applicable BHS in my MediSave Account?

You can only save up to your applicable Basic Healthcare Sum (BHS) in your MediSave Account (MA), which is the maximum amount you can hold in your MA. The BHS is designed to cover your basic subsidised healthcare needs in old age and to prevent the excessive accumulation of funds in your MA.
