I have redeemed Healthpoints for MediShield Life premium discount but the full MediShield Life premium was still deducted from my payer’s MediSave Account. Why was the discount not applied before premium deduction?
Your premium payer will receive the redeemed premium discount as a reimbursement to their MediSave Account on the same day after the full premium is deducted. The net premium amount paid is the same regardless whether the discount is applied before or after premium deduction.
Your premium payer may check the reimbursement after premium deduction in his/her CPF Transaction History or contact your Integrated Shield Plan insurer directly if needed. You may also view your premium discount information in your Healthcare Dashboard.
