Can a Major Exporter Scheme (MES) holder move goods stored in a local warehouse into a warehouse in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ)?

The warehouses in the Free Trade Zones (FTZs) are meant for storage of imported goods pending entry into Customs Territory (CT) or re-export to foreign destinations.
Goods brought from the CT (e.g. a local warehouse) into the FTZ should be meant for export only and not for re-entry into the CT at a later date. The goods will be subject to GST when they re-enter CT. As such, please advise your client to look for alternative storage facilities in CT.
