Subsidy - Application

Updated by ECDA

Families with at least 5 members and 3 or more dependants who do not earn an income, can use per capita income (PCI) for subsidy assessments. To calculate PCI, divide the total gross monthly household income of all family members by the total number of family members living in the same household. All family members (including the dependants and non-dependants) included must be related by blood, marriage, or legal adoption and share the same residential address as reflected in the NRIC of the main applicant.

For married couples, both parents' incomes are included in the calculation, even if they have different registered addresses.
