Updated by HMPP-HMSP
The provision of fruit required under HMPP/HMSP guidelines is at least half a serving. The weight of the fruit is dependent on the type of fruit being served. Generally, the serving size of a fruit is determined based on international standards by nutrition experts; taking into consideration the nutrient content of the fruit and nutritional requirement of the population before determining the recommended weight for 1 serving. You can refer to the respective serving sizes of fruits on HealthHub: https://www.healthhub.sg/programmes/fruits-and-veggies
