What should I do if I am not able to upload my photo image for my ABTC application online?

You should check the details of the error message. Please note the photo image criteria listed below:

  • JPEG format (jpg extension);
  • Preferred dimension is 400 x 514 pixels; and
  • File size should be no more than 60kbytes.

The above criteria must be fulfilled for the photo to be accepted. However, please note that even after being accepted by the system, your photo image could still be rejected if it does not match the following requirements and specifications:
  • In colour taken against a plain white background;
  • Taken within the last 3 months;
  • Showing the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide the facial features);
  • Full face with the upper shoulders visible, facing forward with eyes open;
  • Hair must not cover the eyebrows or the eyes;
  • Even exposure (must not be taken direct lighting);
  • Spectacle frames must not cover part of the eyes;
  • Spectacle lenses must not reflect or glare.
