A valid IPA letter is not an immigration pass that allows you to stay in Singapore. The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority officer will issue you with a visit pass if you are assessed to be eligible for entry into Singapore. Please ensure that you have a valid pass throughout the whole duration of your stay in Singapore. You must complete the formalities for your Student's Pass in order to commence your studies in Singapore.

The period of stay granted is shown either on the visit pass endorsement in your passport or in the electronic Visit Pass (ePass) issued to you through email.
