The QR code streamlines the current immigration clearance process for group travellers by car, motorcycle, lorry or bus. A single QR code will also allow individual traveller or multiple travellers by car, motorcycle, lorry or bus to be cleared at one go, thus reducing travellers' overall waiting time.

The created profile(s) for the QR code can be saved and used for future trips for individual user and for the same group of travellers without the need to re-key the details. Families, for example, will not need to re-generate the information for subsequent trips, unless there are changes to the passport details (e.g., Passport Number and Date of Expiry). This allows faster immigration clearance and reduces the overall waiting time for travellers in vehicles.

This also brings convenience by reducing the need for travellers to create QR code for each trip.
