What happens to my current work pass after my Singapore Permanent Residence (PR) application is approved?
If you are holding an Employment Pass (EP), your pass would be cancelled once you have been granted Singapore PR status (i.e. after completion of your PR formalities).
If you have family member(s) who are holding on to Dependant's Pass(es) or Long-Term Visit Pass(es) issued by MOM, do note that their passes will not be auto-cancelled. If they wish to continue residing in Singapore, you will need to apply for an appropriate immigration pass for them. To avoid overstaying, please approach your employer or appointed employment agent to cancel the Dependant's Pass(es) or Long-Term Visit Pass(es) before they expire.
