Eligible* applicants can submit an online request for a verification letter.

Please note:
(i) You are not required to obtain a verification letter for the closure of CPF account/withdrawal of CPF funds.
(ii) For existing PRs, verification letter will only be issued on a case-by-case basis. You may produce your Entry Permit and/or valid REP to verify your Singapore PR status.

*If you have already lost PR status by remaining outside Singapore without a valid Re-Entry Permit (REP), or previously renounced PR status.

You may surrender your cancelled Singapore Blue NRIC to an ICA Officer at ICA Building if you are in Singapore, or a diplomatic/ consular officer at the Singapore Overseas Mission nearest to you if you are overseas.

Alternatively, you may send the identity card to us by registered mail. If you choose to do so, please send the mail to:

Immigration & Checkpoints Authority
ICA Building
10 Kallang Road
#03-00
Singapore 208718
Attention: Mr Kel Tan (IC Unit)
