Is there any cap to the number of students who can be awarded the subsidies each year?
There is no cap. An Individual will be eligible for government subsidy as long as he/she meets the eligibility criteria and is enrolled in the relevant courses (i.e. part-time undergraduate degree programmes at the local universities, part-time polytechnic diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Specialist Diploma at the polytechnics, or part-time Nitec/Higher Nitec programmes at ITE).
