I am currently being considered for teaching at the secondary level. However, I have been relief teaching at the primary level. Can I request to be posted to a primary school for the school stint?
Once you accept the appointment to teach a secondary level subject, you need to assume duty in a secondary school. The experience will prepare you for the appropriate teacher training programme and course at the National Institute of Education. Be mindful of your own strengths and interests, and if offered a subject or level you have not applied for, accept appointment only when you have considered the matter carefully and are ready to teach at the assigned level.
