What are the supporting documents that I need to submit to the current school for verification if my child is successfully offered a place in another primary school?

You will need to report to the current school within the reporting period to verify:

  • Your child’s Birth Certificate / entry or re-entry permit, and
  • Singapore NRICs / entry or re-entry permit of both parents.

You are advised to prepare all the necessary documents prior to reporting to the school to ease the completion of the transfer process.

  • Relevant court order setting out the custody arrangement pertaining to the child
  • Letter of Consent (For parents with joint custody of the child) to be obtained from child’s current school
  • Letter of Undertaking by registering parent (Administered by current school)

  • Marriage Record Search from the Registry of Marriage/Registry of Muslim Marriage indicating parents were not married
  • Letter of Undertaking by registering parent (Administered by current school)

  • Death Certificate where one parent is deceased

  • NRIC of caregiver
