Why did MOE make some additional places available under the School Placement Exercise for Returning Singaporeans - Secondary (SPERS-Sec)?
As they were overseas, RS may not have had the same opportunities as local students to secure places in our secondary schools. Thus, some additional school places will be made available to RS under SPERS-Sec so that they have an opportunity to seek admission to a secondary school of their choice.
