Can I transfer my child who is an existing student in a mainstream or specialised school (Northlight School and Assumption Pathway School) to a special education school?
All applications to special education (SPED) schools from mainstream and specialised schools are centrally facilitated by MOE to ensure appropriate placement and a smooth transition to a SPED school setting. You should approach your child’s current school to further discuss the transfer. SPED schools will not accept direct applications from parents, legal guardians, private professionals, or hospitals.
