Can I use my parent’s or sibling’s NRIC address to register for Primary 1 if they are caring for my child?
- Both you and your spouse are working full-time at the time the alternative child-care arrangement declaration is made,
- Your child is under the care of a grandparent or a parent’s sibling.

Do you meet all the above criteria?
<base-collapsible title="Yes" class="moe-collapsible-child">Only the parent who made the declaration can use the approved caregiver’s address to register your child on the P1 Registration Portal during your child’s eligible phase. The other parent will not be able to do so. Find the declaration period and online form for submitting the declaration of alternative childcare arrangement. Please allow at least 3 working days for your application to be processed. You must receive the approval email from MOE before you can register your child for P1 using the caregiver’s address.
