I had taken the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) at Primary 4 level but was unsuccessful. May I reapply to take the AEIS/ Supplementary-AEIS (S-AEIS) at Primary 3 or Primary 5 level?
Primary level applicants who apply for the AEIS / S-AEIS will sit for the test at the level which they are age-appropriate for. Unlike the AEIS, there is no Primary 5 admission for the S-AEIS. Hence, AEIS applicants who are unsuccessful for admission to Primary 5 will only be allowed to reapply and take the S-AEIS at Primary 4, subject to meeting the permissible age ranges for the level.
Applicants seeking primary school admission should note that they are also required to meet or exceed the required Cambridge English Scale (CES) score for their corresponding age-appropriate level of admission.
