Why do I have to be quarantined?
You are under quarantine as you were identified as a close contact of an mpox case. Going by MOH’s prevailing definition of a “close contact”, this means that you were in close proximity to an mpox case during his/her infectious period for a significant period of time.
Due to patient confidentiality, we are unable to disclose the identity of the mpox case.
