While employers can appoint panel clinics, employees can still visit any clinic of their choice and be entitled to paid sick leave if they meet the eligibility criteria. However, employers are required to reimburse medical consultation fees only if the medical certificate is issued by a medical practitioner from a public institution or a clinic appointed by the company.
