What are the differences between a PSC Scholarship and a PSC Scholarship (Public Finance)?
The PSC Scholarship (Public Finance) caters to students with a career interest in Public Finance (e.g. Fiscal Policies, Reserves, Investments, Tax, Finance, Audit).
You will be assigned to the Ministry of Finance (MOF) as your parent agency, with stints in the Accountant-General’s Department (AGD) and the Auditor-General's Office (AGO), and other agencies in the public service to provide you with all-round exposure. There will be tailored opportunities for you to review strategic Whole-of-Government issues and cultivate a Centre-of-Government perspective; hone economic policy-making skillsets, quantitative and analytical rigour while considering public sentiments, leverage data and synthesize information to support evidence-based decision-making.
