Why should I lodge Suspicious Transaction Report (STR)?

Updated by SPF-STAGING

You have a legal obligation to lodge an Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) if you have reason to suspect that any property is connected to criminal conduct, and if such suspicion arose in the course of your trade, profession, business or employment. Failure to do so is a criminal offence. Depending on the circumstances, a failure to report could also be construed as an abetment of a criminal offence.
