As a licensee or employer, will I be notified if the licence of a security officer under my employment has been revoked or suspended?
The Police Licensing and Regulatory Department will notify the licensed security agency or direct employer, in the case of In-House Employer(IHE), should any of its employed security officer licence is suspended or revoked.
If you are an employer of security officers, you may wish to consider putting a requirement in the employment contract that the security officer is required to notify the agency of his suspension or revocation in the first instance.
It is an offence to deploy a security officer whose licence has been suspended or revoked.
