Are children allowed to visit inmates?

Children are allowed to visit inmates if their Visit Request Application is approved and are accompanied by an adult during the visit.

To do so, submit a Visit Request Application via one of the links below:

If the child is related to the inmate, do ensure to attach the relevant Relationship Verification Documents in your Visit Request Application form. To find out what documents to submit, please refer to the following link: https://www.sps.gov.sg/visit-matters/visit-information/who-can-visit/

For visit applicants below 21 years old without documentary proof of relationship with the inmate, the parent/guardian must submit the Visitor's Parental/Guardian Consent Form here: https://form.gov.sg/63804b239e87340012a166bd

Applications are processed within 15 working days. The inmate's Main Card Holder (MCH) and you will be notified on the outcome of the Visit Request Application via SMS at your declared mobile phone numbers.
