The school places emphasis on nurturing students’ independence and responsibility by having them record their own homework in the Student Handbook. While we understand parents’ wish for daily updates via Class Dojo or Parents Gateway, the school believes this would reduce opportunities for students to practise accountability. Teachers will continue to guide students in noting down assignments accurately and parents are encouraged to check with their children directly to support the development of this important life skill.
