How much pocket money should I give my child?

The set meals in our school canteen range from $1.50 to $2.00.
We will recommend a daily allowance of not more than $3.00. Upper Primary pupils will need extra pocket money on days when they have to stay back for remedials, supplementary lessons and CCA trainings.
Parents are also encouraged to go through the types and prices of food available with their child to determine the amount of pocket money he/she requires.
