Can my child apply to use the automated lanes if the passport was issued when he/she was below six years old?

Your child, aged six years old and above, can approach the manned immigration counters at our checkpoints to enrol his/her biometrics when departing or entering Singapore. The officer will advise you on the enrolment procedure. Your child will then be able to use the automated lanes on subsequent trips.

Alternatively, if your child's passport is expiring within the next nine months, you may wish to apply for a new passport. Your child's fingerprints will be enrolled if your child is six years old and above at the point of passport collection.
