Is the security deposit refundable after my Student's Pass (STP) is cancelled or has expired?

Your security deposit is refundable provided that you have not breached any of the conditions stated in the security bond which you have executed; and after ICA confirms your departure from Singapore.

ICA will issue a discharge letter to the bank upon your departure from Singapore. You may make prior arrangement with the bank for overseas transfer to your foreign bank account.

Generally, it takes about six weeks to process the security deposit refund upon the cancellation or expiry of your Student's Pass.
