Is my entry to Singapore guaranteed with a valid visa?
A valid Singapore visa is not an immigration pass, it is a pre-entry permission to allow the holder of the valid Singapore visa to travel to, and seek entry into Singapore. Possessing a valid visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore.
You will have to satisfy the basic entry requirements before being considered for entry into Singapore.
The prevailing entry requirements include:
- A valid passport with at least six months validity;
- A valid Singapore entry visa (if applicable);
- A confirmed return/onward tickets (where applicable);
- Sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore; and
- Entry facilities to their onward destinations (e.g. visas and Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, if applicable).
