All applications for Singapore citizenship are carefully considered and reviewed by ICA. Generally, applications will be processed within 12 months, provided all the required documents are submitted. Depending on the complexity of the case, some applications may take longer to process.  

You will be informed of the outcome via email. Meanwhile, you or your sponsor may check the status of your Singapore citizenship application online through ICA e-Service.  

There is no need to contact ICA during this time.  

New or repeated applications, for the same person(s), will not be accepted while the current application is still in process.
