Is there anything that I should note or do before submitting the OVM permit application?

As an applicant, you must ensure that the information given in the application and/or any attached document is true, accurate and complete. A qualified person must conduct a route survey before the application is submitted and the actual transportation. All affected structures along the proposed route must be inspected and the route affirmed to be safely passable to the oversized vehicle stated in the application. You may refer to theList of roads with height limit list of bridges with weight limit list of road closures, andlist of current / planned road works to facilitate your route planning.

The following documents must be attached to the application when applicable:

Route survey report- overall width ≥ 6 metres
Professional Engineer (Civil) report- overall weight ≥ 200,000 kilograms
Professional Engineer (Civil) report- axle load > 12,000 kilograms

Lastly, you must also ensure full compliance with the permit conditions set forth by the Authority.
