As an untrained teacher (UT), you will need time and effort to adjust to the school environment and pick up skills teachers are expected to have. Before embarking on part-time courses, please inform the principal of the school you are attached to. It is important that your performance at work is not affected by your part-time studies.

During teacher training at the National Institute of Education, officers are not allowed to take up outside training courses or be part-time students at any academic institution as they are salaried civil servants sponsored by the Ministry for full-time training.
