If the subsequent contract is considered continuous, any unconsumed leave balance (except annual leave) will be carried over to the new contract. If the subsequent contract is considered non-continuous, the unconsumed leave balance will be forfeited, and you will have to accumulate at least another 3 months of service before being eligible for leave benefits.

The engagement of an FAJ(SEN Officer), FAJ(SC) or FAJ(MKE) must be based on the needs of the school or MOE Kindergarten. You should not expect schools or MOE Kindergartens to engage you on continuous contracts, thereby allowing you to utilise any unconsumed leave benefits.
