Do Returning Singaporeans have to sit for school-based assessment tests and interviews for admission to secondary schools?
The secondary school may conduct school-based assessment tests and/or interview to ascertain the children’s current attainment level and provide the appropriate assistance to help them settle back into the schools. The schools may, based on assessment tests and in consultation with parents, place the children into a lower more suitable level.
