If my child with Wait List offer from School X indicates the school as a choice during school preference submission and is allocated to the school, do I still have another chance to accept or reject the allocation?
By submitting the school preference, you have agreed for your child to commit to the DSA-Sec school that is allocated to them. If your child is successfully admitted via DSA-Sec, they are not allowed to transfer to another school or participate in Secondary 1 Posting to opt for secondary schools after the release of PSLE results.
If your child is given a Wait List offer, they may be admitted into the school subject to available vacancies. They will be informed of the allocation outcome during the PSLE results release in late November.
If you do not wish for your child to be committed to the DSA-Sec school, you should not submit any school preference during the school preference submission period.
