Can we appeal for a transfer to our preferred school based on my child’s talents and achievements, after the Secondary 1 (S1) posting results are released?
Students who wish to appeal to gain admission to the school on the basis of talents and achievements, e.g., in sports or arts, would have had the option of participating in Direct School Admission for Secondary Schools, an alternative admissions pathway which recognises students’ strengths in various domains.
If your child had met the school’s cut-off point and you wish to appeal to your preferred school, you can check the preferred school’s website for more information.
