My child narrowly missed their preferred school’s cut-off point (COP) by 1 Achievement Level. Can we appeal for a transfer to our preferred secondary school?

To ensure fairness, transparency and objectivity for all students who participated in S1 Posting, it is necessary for your child’s PSLE score to meet the school’s COP of the posting year in order for the school to process your appeal.

This is because admitting students who do not meet the COP would not be fair to other students who obtained a similar or better PSLE score but were not offered a place in the school through the S1 Posting.
