Why am I not posted to any of my course choice that I submitted in the Joint Admissions Exercise (JAE)?
If you are unable to get a place in any of your course choices, you will be allocated a course of the same institution type as your first choice, subject to available vacancies and for which you met the course's entry requirements. For example, if you have indicated JC as your first choice, you will be allocated to a JC course with vacancy.
However, you may not be allocated any course if the courses that you are eligible for do not have any more vacancies. Hence, it is important to maximise your 12 choices during the JAE application and consider courses wisely that cater to your learning interests, styles, and aspirations. You should also consider the likelihood of being posted into the courses by choosing those where your net aggregate scores are better than the cut-off points, based on last year’s admitted applicants’ scores. This can increase your chances of being posted to your chosen courses.
