Why is sitting for the centralised tests required for admission via School Placement Exercise for Returning Singaporeans - Secondary (SPERS-Sec)?
SPERS-Sec applicants are required to sit for the centralised tests, so as to facilitate their admission to schools with students of comparable abilities. Based on their overall performance, applicants will receive a list of schools that they are eligible for, where students of comparable abilities are already studying in.
