If my child exceeds the required score for the relevant Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test, will he/ she get a better school posting?
The required score for the relevant Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test is a minimum requirement, and therefore it is necessary for all applicants to meet or exceed the score for the test relevant to the level they are applying for admission to. Passing the CEQ test does not guarantee admission and your child would still need to pass the AEIS-Primary Mathematics test held in Singapore.
MOE will take into consideration applicants’ results from both the CEQ test and the AEIS-Primary Mathematics test, as well as the available vacancies in school, to offer your child a place in our schools.
