How do I submit my application for change of name for my society?
A society can submit its application for change of name via ROS eServices. A society is required to submit its application after the resolution to change the name is passed at a general meeting of members, in accordance with the society's constitution. The President and Secretary are required to verify and submit the application online. Supporting documents for attachment should preferably be in docx, pdf, jpg or png format. The file size of each attachment should not exceed 5Mb.
If the society is registered IPC/Charity, it is required to provide a letter from the Commissioner of Charities, supporting the society's proposed name when submitting the application to the Registry of Societies.
