What is the new medical requirement for learner motorist aged 65 and above?
Elderly learner motorists aged 65 and above will be subjected to the same prescribed medical examination that is currently required of elderly drivers with qualified driving licence (QDL).
Elderly learner motorists who do not possess a qualified driving licence are required to collect the medical examination form (NP 450) from the Chief Tester at any of the three Traffic Police Test Centres.
The elderly learner motorist must produce the form when undergoing a medical examination from any Singapore-registered medical practitioner. This is to ensure the same standards are met, as an elderly motorist with a QDL through a standardised medical examination.
