How to book, change, or cancel your appointment in MyICA
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you have:
The MyICA app installed on your device
Your NRIC and personal details ready
An active application that requires an appointment
Step-by-Step Instructions
To book an appointment:
Open the MyICA app and log in with your SingPass.
Go to the "Applications" section on your home screen.
Tip: If your application requires an appointment, you'll see a prompt to book one here.
Select your application and tap "Book Appointment."
Choose your preferred ICA building, date, and time slot from the available options.
Confirm your appointment details and tap "Submit."
Tip: You'll receive a confirmation notification once your appointment is booked.
To change an appointment:
Go to "Notifications" on your MyICA home screen.
Find your upcoming appointment notification and tap on it.
Tap "Change Appointment" and select a new date and time.
Important: You cannot change appointments on the day of or the day before your scheduled appointment.
Confirm your new appointment details.
To cancel an appointment:
Navigate to "e-Services" from the main menu.
Select "e-Appointment" from the list of services.
Find your scheduled appointment and tap "Cancel."
Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
Tip: You'll receive a confirmation that your appointment has been cancelled.
Troubleshooting
Getting an error message when entering your NRIC and date of issue?
Double-check that you're entering your NRIC exactly as it appears on your IC (including letters)
Ensure the date format matches what's requested (usually DD/MM/YYYY)
Try clearing the app cache or restarting the app
Can't find the option to book an appointment?
Make sure your application actually requires an appointment - not all ICA services need one
Check that your application status allows for appointment booking
Missed your appointment for passport or IC collection?
You'll need to book a new appointment through the same process
Your application will remain valid, but you must reschedule collection
Having issues booking an appointment for IC collection?
Ensure your IC application has been approved first
Check that you're selecting the correct ICA building for collection
