The school is using the Apple iPad (9 th Generation) for teaching and learning. If you would like to use

your own device rather than purchased through the school’s bulk tender, please ensure the device is

an Apple iPad which meet the following requirements:

- device should not be older than 4 years from manufacturing date

- battery should hold charge for at least 4 hours;

- comparable form factor to school’s bulk tender devices (e.g. touchscreen, physical keyboard,

Apple Pencil);

- comparable performance to school’s bulk tender devices

i. Processor: A10 Fusion or better

ii. Capacity: 32 GB or higher

iii. OS version: iPadOS14 or higher

iv. Screen Size: 10.0 to 11.9 inch (diagonal)

v. Resolution: 2048 x 1536 or higher resolution

vi. Wi-fi function should work and support at least IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac standard that uses

5GHz.

Your child is required to bring the device to school for assessment of suitability of device to

function as Personal Learning Device.

Once assessed as suitable, the school will install the DMA (Device Management Application) to

provide a safe learning experience and prevent misuse of the device.
