Who are eligible to use the QR code for immigration clearance?

Updated by ICA

All travellers (Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, Long Term Pass Holders, and foreign visitors), regardless of age, with the exception of first-time foreign visitors and those re-entering Singapore using a different passport from their last visit to Singapore, can enjoy passport-less clearance by presenting QR code generated via the MyICA mobile app, at Singapore land checkpoints via car, motorcycle, lorry and bus.

Travellers using passports that have not been used for entry into Singapore before, will have to present their passports for their immigration clearance. Thereafter, travellers will be eligible to use the QR code for immigration clearance in their subsequent trips.

To use QR code at the automated immigration lanes, travellers need to ensure that their biometrics identifiers have been enrolled with ICA or MOM. Please refer to ICA website for more information.
