If your vehicle is an excluded vehicle and requires the use of expressways, please obtain prior approval by submitting an application for the use of excluded vehicle on expressways before applying for the OVM permit.

If your vehicle is a goods vehicle registered in an ASEAN member country other than Singapore, please ensure that this vehicle complies with the conditions stated in the Goods Vehicle Permit (GVP) before applying for the OVM permit. Please seek clearance from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) for your oversized vehicle to pass through the Tuas Checkpoint or the Woodlands Checkpoint.

For clearance to transport flammable materials and chemical substances, please contact the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the National Environment Agency (NEA) respectively.

The OVM permit shall NOT be considered at any time under any circumstance to be a waiver of responsibility to abide by any prevailing laws, rules and regulations, terms and conditions; imposed by any ministry, statutory board, or government agency.
