If I accept the appointment, do I have the option of not signing the Teacher Training Agreement (which obliges me to serve the teaching bond)?
The offer of appointment includes the teaching bond.
If you are found suitable for teaching but choose not to enrol in NIE, you are required to leave the service. Resignations must be submitted with one month's notice to the Ministry at moe_hrs_ttm@moe.gov.sg and and through your Principal. Otherwise, your services will be terminated and you will be required to pay salary-in-lieu of short notice.
