Those who wish to progress to part-time diploma courses after the new Higher Nitec / Nitec courses may still do so. However, they will need to complete a bridging programme to strengthen their academic foundation in specific areas required by the Polytechnics.

Note: Graduates holding Higher Nitec and Nitec qualifications (with GPA ≥ 3.5) prior to the new CET qualifications do not need to take the bridging programme for progression to CET Diploma courses.
